The Bucks County Symphony will perform the Final Concert of the 2009-2010 season on Saturday May 1, 2010 at 8:00 PM at Central Bucks East High School. 

We are honored to once again host violinist ELIZABETH PITCAIRN, performing on her legendary 1720 “ Red Mendelssohn” Stradivarius, the inspiration for the academy award winning film, ”The Red Violin”. In addition to a busy performance schedule, Ms. Pitcairn is concertmaster of Southern California’s New West Symphony. She’s performed with many great orchestras, including the Philadelphia Orchestra, where her work was praised by music critic, David Patrick Sterns. Ms. Pitcairn will perform Jean Sibelius' violin concerto in D minor."Mussorgsky’s monumental “Pictures at an Exhibition” will conclude what has been a fabulous season!
