The Bucks County Symphony is continously seeking additional methods to communicate with our audience and promote upcoming events. Facebook is a social networking site and reaches a wide audience.  We hope that by taking advantage of  the opportunity to establish a page on Facebook, we can efficiently reach our friends of all ages and then to friends-of-friends to help promote the best community orchestra in in the  Delaware Valley. We encourage student participation and admit them free to all subscription concerts.

The 2009 Bucks County Symphony Youth Cometition winners are 14 year old Violinist Amy Semes and 12 year old Cellist Bihn Sangbin Park.

The season began with A Symphony of Flavors, a food and wine pairing in September 2008. This fundraising event offered guests the opportunity to enjoy wines perfectly matched with dishes from a variety of local restaurants. The event featured guest speaker Eric Asimov, the chief wine critic for The New York Times.  Mr. Asimov has contributed his culinary expertise and writing skills to two books, The New York Times Guide to Restaurants 2004 and $25 and Under: A Guide to the Best Inexpensive Restaurants in New York. He has also authored multiple newspaper columns as well as articles for magazines such as Food and Wine, Martha Stewart Living and Details.
