The BCSO is proud to announce three special events planned in the first half of the new year. These are in addition to the three major concerts—Winter, Pops and Spring.

Our premiere Soirée at Three will be held on Saturday, February 14 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Solebury. Pianist Llewellyn Sánchez-Werner, a gifted virtuoso known for his mesmerizing artistry and extraordinary ability to communicate, will inspire and entertain the audience on the church’s newly acquired Steinway B. At this intimate afternoon gathering guests will enjoy a reception featuring delectable hors d’oeuvres, wine, and a dessert bar.

The annual Spring Soirée on Thursday, April 23 will feature the dazzling violinist Njioma Grevious at a location yet to be determined. Ms. Grevious, praised for her expressive tones and elegant playing, is a passionate and versatile solo, chamber, and orchestral musician. A buffet supper, beverages, and desserts will precede her performance.

In response to a survey of BCSO patrons and musicians, the season will conclude with our first-ever Chamber Strings Concert on Sunday, May 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Doylestown Presbyterian Church. Some of our orchestra’s finest musicians will perform works by Samuel Barber, Peter Tchaikovsky, Edvard Grieg, and Jessie Montgomery.
