Llewellyn Sánchez-Werner, a brilliant pianist known for his poetic and electrifying playing, is the recitalist at the BCSO’s premiere Soirée at Three, featuring exquisite music and a reception with delectable hors d’oeuvres, wine, and a dessert bar.

Described as a “gifted virtuoso with mesmerizing artistry,” pianist Llewellyn Sánchez-Werner joins the BCSO in a performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2. BCSO also performs Beethoven’s Egmont Overture and Elgar’s Enigma Variations.

Recognized for her exceptional contributions as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer, Njioma Grevious joins the BCSO in a performance of Coleridge-Taylor’s Violin Concerto. BCSO also performs Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4.

The BCSO announces its first-ever Chamber Strings Concert on May 17, a performance inspired by requests from both patrons and orchestra members. We invite you to come and experience this intimate genre of performance presented by musicians of the BCSO.

Ji Su Jung, known for her breathtaking virtuosity on the marimba, is featured soloist at a Fall Soirée to benefit the BCSO’s programming and educational outreach.

Praised for performances that are “filled with breathtaking virtuosity, extraordinary color and nuance,” Curtis Institute’s Ji Su Jung joins the BCSO in a performance of the Kevin Puts Marimba Concerto. Also featured is Rimsky-Korsakov’s exotic Scheherazade.
