A Message to the BCSO Community—July 2021

As the COVID pandemic continues its apparent diminution, we are making plans for a normal 2021-2022 season, complete with three subscription concerts, featuring the standards of the classical repertoire and acclaimed solo artists; a Family Concert, featuring the winner of the BCSO Youth Concerto Competition and student musicians from our region; and a Pops Concert, featuring a star performer from the Broadway stage. We also plan on resuming our annual educational outreach programs to local school students.
This is a special year for the BCSO, as Gary S. Fagin conducts his 20th season as our orchestra’s Music Director. You won’t want to miss any of the festive concerts in the coming year!
As we emerge from pandemic-related challenges, please know that our concert schedule and venues are still tentative, but here’s what we are planning at this time:
- Fall Concert, Saturday, October 23, 2021
- Family Concert, Sunday, December 5, 2021
- Winter Concert, Sunday, February 20, 2022
- Pops Concert, Saturday, March 19, 2022
- Spring Concert, Saturday, April 30, 2022
